Student Data Consent Form
Please read carefully before providing consent
1. Purpose of Data Collection
EduRisk is a final year engineering project that uses machine learning to predict student academic risk. Your data will be used to:
Train and validate ML models for risk prediction
Generate anonymized insights about academic patterns
Provide faculty with early warning indicators for at-risk students
Advance research in educational data mining
2. Data Collected
The following data will be collected as part of this research:
Academic grades (CGPA, subject-wise marks)
Attendance records
Course registration history
IoT/RFID access logs
Demographic information (age, department)
System interaction data
3. Voluntary Participation
Your participation in this research is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate or withdraw at any time without affecting your academic standing or grades.
4. Confidentiality & Anonymization
All data will be anonymized before processing. Your name and roll number will be replaced with unique identifiers. Only aggregated, non-identifiable data may be used in research publications.
5. Data Security
Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers accessible only to the project team and faculty advisors. All data handling follows institutional ethics guidelines and Indian data protection laws.
6. Right to Withdraw
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To withdraw, please contact the project team at consent@edurisk.project.edu. Upon withdrawal, your data will be removed from active systems, though anonymized data already used in analysis may be retained.
